Shipping
When shipped we ensure that all products are packaged with professional care, so you can feel confident that your items will arrive working and in excellent condition.
Flat Rate Shipping:
In an effort to offer cost saving options to you, Modern Joys now offers Free Shipping as the flat rate ground shipping option within Canada and USA. Items shipped using this option will ship via Canada Post expedited or UPS Ground. Items valued over $100 dollars will require a signature for receipt.
Modern Joys will have your product ready to ship within 3 to 5 working days and shipped out thereafter. The typical turn around for shipping (from the time you order, to the time it arrives at your doorstep) is 10 business days.
United Parcel Service (UPS) Standard Shipping:
In an effort to expedite your orders we also offer UPS Shipping. Quotes for shipping are genterated based on your location so the price will vary. Orders are shipped within 1 to 3 business days and shipped thereafter. The typical turn around for shipping (from the time you order, to the time it arrives at your doorstep) is about 5 business days and a signature will be required.
Store Pickup:
Store Pickup is only offered to Ontario residents. Please note since many of our orders are shipped directly from our distributor in the United States turn around is about 7 to 10 business days before we contact you to pick-up your order, but shipping expenses will be $0 (zero). If for any reason this option is not possible we will contact you to make alternative shipping arrangements.
*Purchasers outside of North America:
We no longer ship outside of North America. This is because we do not feel we can offer the service and support we want to give to our customers outside of the North American region. If this changes in the future we will let you know.
Payment Options:
Modern Joys accepts Paypal and all major credit cards for payment. We will also accept payement by cheque but cheques must be received prior to your orders being shipped out.
Customers that order within Ontario and request to pickup their order will also have the option of paying by cash.

We understand that people shop online for convenience. Modern Joys ensures that it stays that way if problems arise after a purchase is made.
Should you find upon receipt that your product is not working as expected, or for any reason you do not want the product that you have purchased, we will provide a warranty replacement or full refund (Including all shipping charges) at your discretion when you return the faulty merchandise in its original condition within 30 days of purchase. *We will also pay the return shipping, so there will be no additional burden for returning the product to us and we never charge restocking fees. Please email us first for complete instructions prior to sending in your product for return or exchange.
After 30 days and up to 1 year from the date of original purchase, Modern Joys will work with the manufacturer or vendor on your behalf to do a product replacement (this is offered only to the original purchaser and subject to manufacturer's warranty policies). Shipping expenses at this time will become the responsibility of the purchaser. Please email us so that we can provide you with details on exchanging a defective product after 30 days of purchase.
